Emotional abuse is a serious problem. The victim may go through denial at first while engaging in emotionally abusive behavior. They will feel shame, hopelessness, fear, and confusion. Additionally they may even experience anxiety, guilt, insecurity, chronic pain, and insomnia. The effects of emotional abuse should not go unrecognized.
